O2k-Fluo LED2-Module
Description | The O2k-Fluorescence Module is a modular extension of the O2k-Core, adding a new dimension to HRR. Optical probes are inserted through the front window of the O2k-glass chambers, for measurement of hydrogen peroxide production (Amplex red), ATP production (Mg green), mt-membrane potential (Safranin), Ca2+ (Ca green), and numerous other applications open for O2k-user innovation. |

The first series of the O2k-Fluorescence Module will be completed by beginning of April 2012, and will be delivered in April 2012, for orders received by end of January 2012.
O2k-Fluorometry Workshop
- O2k-Fluorometry Workshop from 15 to 16 March 2012, Innsbruck, Austria.
Upgrading the Oxygraph-2k Basic
- The O2k-Core fully supports the O2k-Fluorescence Module.
- The Oxygraph-2k 20000-44 (Series D and E) requires the O2k-MultiSensor electronic upgrading. The O2k-MultiSensor System fully supports the O2k-Fluorescence Module. Two black PEEK stoppers (with single central titration port) are included in the O2k-Fluorescence Module.
- The Oxygraph-2k 20000-44 (Series A to C) can be equipped with a O2k-Fluorescence Module upon request. However, for best performance we recommend to use an O2k Series D and above. If Oxygraph-2k 20000-44 (Series A to C) is equipped with an O2k-Fluorescence Module only one chamber can be used when measuring simultaneously fluorescence and respiration. The other chamber can not be used for any measurements during fluorescence experiments, but both chambers can still be used for standard respiration experiments (no fluorescence). The O2k-MultiSensor electronic upgrading is NOT required to use the O2k-Fluorescence Module for O2k Series A to C. The modified O2k-Fluorescence Module will include fluorescence sensors for only one chamber (green and blue light source) and only one black PEEK stoppers (with single central titration port). Additionally, a special pre-amplification box will be included. See also the Discussion page.
