| Attention: This only works when the Oxygraph-2k is connected to the mains power supply. If the mains cable of the oxygraph is unplugged other grounded objects have to be found for touching (e.g. heating, water pipes).

| * Handling the pX channel: There are two situations when a ESD caused by the operators body could reach the electronics of the oxygraph while working with the pX channel:

| ** Directly by touching the BNC port during plugging in or out an electrode.

| ** Theoretically an electrical contact is also possible by touching the needles of the TIP syringes when any potentiometric sensor (TPP, pH, Ca,..) is in the chamber filled with medium (medium = electrolyte).
